We are a 120-acre Private/Public Sporting Club, located on Jericho Road in Quinton Township N.J. Regular residents of New Jersey can become members even without being involved currently or formerly with law enforcement. The Police Association of South Jersey is a public indoor range open to both law enforcement and civilians. The Tactical Training Center offers quite a few courses including handgun training, introductory firearm lesson courses, one on one coaching, qualification courses for retired police officers, semi-automatic rifle training, and tactical shotgun training among others! They also have a full-service firearms range and gun store. The range is available to the public on weekends from noon to 4:30 PM as well as Wednesday evenings. Facilities include an Outdoor shooting range for pistols (25 & 50 yards), Outdoor Rifle (50 & 100 yards) range, Rifle Silhouette, Muzzleloading, Trap, and Archery. Other defensive techniques were added and Colton was always up for adding a new challenge to make it demanding but fun. While these drills are challenging with two hands, just wait till you do them one handed. To add more to it, clearing and standing, crouching and prone position was added. Walking, cover, reload, one handed, strong and support side. Post this, we went into scenarios that combine all the individual drill. support hand, strong hand, shooting or reloading, all had to work as if it would be two handed. After that we moved towards one handed operation and movements. We continued with various other training items with target transitions and room clearing (pieing).ĭay 2 we kicked off by warming up and repeating some of the previous day drills to solidify. With the approach Colton had, within no time we could address the deficiencies and put some good muscle memory in. We spent a good time in prep and reset drill, which was my biggest weakness. The warm drills and initial evaluation was efficient so we could jump right into the meat. The scheduling and all administrative items were efficiently handled to make the training itself run smooth from the beginning. Prior to the training, Colton shared all the information, provided advise and tips. From the previous 4h experience with some friends, this time I booked 2 days of a 1:1 training for myself. After my initial experience with Noir Training, I felt I wanna do it again but a bit longer. ![]()
